It’s already Tuesday my 5th day in Perth. I’m having a great time!! Before I started my trip I was really excited and scared but now I can say I really enjoy the time on my own.

On Saturday I took a walk to Heirisson Island, walked around and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I found out that one side of the island is a good place to take photos of the Optus Stadium.
Later I strolled along the swan river to Elizabeth Quay – such a beautiful place!
I was looking for a nice place and had dinner with sunset view. Two big water birds (australian darters) joined me.
It was just me, the birds and the sunset. Moments like these stuck in my heart forever.
On Sunday I spent the whole day @ Kings Park / Botanic garden. I’ve been there 3 years ago and I wanted to go back. It’s such a beautiful place on earth! Loooots of different plants and flowers. I had my brother’s Nikon pro lens with me to take some photos. It was totally worth carrying all that weight on my back. By the way – I still love my wandrd prvke bag!
You can find some pics in the gallery below.
I went back down to Elizabeth Quay just before sunset. This is definitely my favorite place for sunset so far. But I wanna go to Kings Park tomorrow or Thursday night to take some skyline pictures at night.
After the sunset I walked to Heirisson Island to shoot the Optus Stadium at night. But I didn’t stay long - because the mozzies wanted to kill me. More than 40 stitches on my legs!!

Yesterday I had to get up pretty early. After a 20 mins. walk I took the bus to Hillarys Boat Harbour where I met my auntie. We rented bikes and took the ferry to Rottnest Island.
Rottnest or Rotto is not only the home for the famous Quokkas, it’s also a beautiful island with stunning bays and beaches! I totally fell in love with the island and her locals. Since we rented bicycles we explored the island on wheels. It totally amazed me and it’s worth the pain in my butt after 22km up and down….
Rotto I’ll be back!! I need to go snorkeling in these beautiful waters.

Today I just strolled around in town, went to Northbridge to check out some street art, a bit of shopping, relaxing and I booked the Dolphin swim for tomorrow.
