During my recent stay in Perth I went to Lesmurdie Falls. From the carpark it’s only a short and easy walk to the waterfall. To explore the surroundings and go for a longer walk/hike I decided to check out the Valley Loop Trail.
At the beginning, the path led me through bushes and I definitely left my comfort zone. The thought that I could suddenly be walking into a spider’s web and a spider could be on me somewhere made my heart pump faster. I’m really scared oft hem.
But after a steep ascent throught the bushes the rest of this trail was amazing. Beautiful scenery and views, lots of different birds and lizard.
And there were no other tourists. They usually walk to the waterfall, take their selfies and leave.
A highlight were the black red tailed cockatoos. They put on a show when I started stoped and started to take photos.
I spent approx. 3 hours in this area before I had to go back to the city.
