After our trip to the world's deepest pool (in march 2018) I had a few pool trainings which were everything but not successfully. I couldn't concentrate and focus and I wasn't able to do any
2mins. + static breath holds. I was tottaly frustrated and couldn't figure out what my problem was.
A few weeks ago I finally found my way back to some good breath holds. I'm still not where I'm supposed to be but I try to work on my mental strength to get back to those 3mins. + breath holds.
It's hard to train after work when I'm tired and I can't really relax. Maybe it will help if I do daily breathing exercises to relax and get my body used to it. Maybe I'll try yoga.
More regular training and probably some dry static breath holds will help as well.
I can't wait to do some deep dive sessions in the lake. And I'm really excited and looking forward to the next freedive course with Christian Redl in august.
I'll do the Advanced Freediver course again and I'm sure i will get some more good tips and practice to improve my trainings and PB's.
