This month started with a trip to Lauterbrunnen to check out the “Truemmelbachfaelle” My friend and I took the train really early in the morning. When we arrived after a 4 hour train drive we were a bit shocked. It looked like there’s a line of 1000 people waiting to get in.

But then we realized they were all waiting for the escalator to get up. So we decided to walk upstairs. Good training for free…. ;-)

There are a few nice spots to take pictures. It’s a pretty impressive place, we really loved it!

We both had our camera’s with us and used this trip to photograph waterfalls and caves. Not that much light, not the best conditions. And we decided to make a monochrome sunday. All pictures are just black and white. (Except the panorama) As we are both still beginners in photography this was a good challenge and practice.

Before we made our (long) way home, we went to Interlaken and took the rack railway up to Harder Kulm. What a view!!! A beautiful scenery – perfect to take some pictures for panorama’s.

(i took 8 photos to create this panorama)

One week later we went to the biotope. I’ve been there so often… never seen a snake. But when it comes to this I really feel like: Never give up! Keep trying!

We made our way to the point where we expected to finally see a snake. And yessss!!!! There was one!! Do you know that feeling when you think you can’t believe your eyes?

It all happened so fast. We took a quick photo with our mobile before she disappeared in the bush. It was a little grass snake. Length ca. 30cm

After this we saw another little snake (she was brown colored), same size.

While waiting for the snakes to come out of the bush again (unfortunately, they didn’t show up again), we captured some dragonflies and frogs.
